A huge congratulations to Andrew and the team at Make UK Defence for organising an incredible Defence Summit 2024. The event was not only well-coordinated but also an absolute pleasure to attend. Acres Engineering is honoured to have been part of this fantastic gathering and thrilled that the table centrepiece’s we designed, manufactured, and donated were so well received. Even better, they contributed to raising funds for the RAF Benevolent Fund—a cause close to our hearts.

The Defence Summit 2024 featured a lineup of unforgettable moments, including:
- Keynote Speeches: Insights from industry leaders like James Makepeace and Paul Livingston set the tone for innovation and progress in the defence sector.
- Personal Stories: A heartfelt and inspiring account from Bob Greig, reflecting on his time as a Royal Air Force (RAF) parachute jumping instructor, resonated with everyone present.
- Networking Opportunities: It was fantastic to reconnect with familiar faces like Jon Constable, who shared his enthusiasm for the Foxhound silhouette centerpiece. We also had the opportunity to meet new potential clients and suppliers—exciting collaborations are on the horizon for 2025!
