Welcome to our Armed Forces Champion Dan Kay

29th April 2025

Dan recently joined us at Acres to work with our CNC laser cutting machines and assembly, He is also our ‘Armed Forces Champion’.

As part of our active involvement in the Armed Forces Covenant and our Gold award status, it is important that we have a member of staff act as our Armed Forces Champion

The Armed Forces Champion is typically a designated individual within the organisation who acts as a key advocate and liaison for matters relating to the armed forces community. Their role is to ensure that the organisation’s commitment under the covenant is upheld in practical and meaningful ways.

The Armed Forces Covenant represents a promise by the nation that those who serve or have served, and their families, are treated fairly and not disadvantaged in day to day life.

The covenant is focused on helping members of the armed forces community have the same access to government and commercial services and products as any other citizen.
