McLaren to initiate a £400 million revitalization project for the 29-story Portland House tower located in Victoria, London.
Developer Landsec is revamping the 1960s building to create a modern office hub in response to the growing need for quality office spaces in the area.
Landsec expects the project to cost £400 million, but they haven’t disclosed the construction contract’s value.
The project will involve adding a new reception, a versatile event space, updating the building’s exterior, and constructing an additional 30th-floor rooftop.
The completed building, named “Thirty High,” will have a restaurant and terrace on its highest floors with breathtaking views of London.
The aim of the project is to achieve net-zero impact during both construction and operation. Landsec has confirmed the building fully electric and be powered by air source heat pumps.
