When designing products to solve manufacturing and logistic problems, a multitude of materials may be used, depending on project specifications/ requirements.

Pre 2012 Acres typically used mild/ stainless steel or aluminium for fabrications and assembled with wood or nylon pads for areas of non-metal to metal contact. Recently Acres have seen a change in industry with more of its customers requiring complete products manufactured from plastic.

In order to respond to our current customer base and the general manufacturing industry, Acres have recently diversified into plastic fabrication to support the Creative Engineered Solutions it provides.

Following investment in equipment and training Acres can happily announce the launch of its new Plastic Fabrication & Welding Production Cell.
