Plate Rack with Back
Scope of work:
Visit site and evaluate requirements. Produce a design based on existing racks. Manufacture a Plate Rack with Back to drawing number: 2011-11-8826.
The plate racks are fabricated from 25mm x 25mm x 2 mm box section and 5mm bolt down plates with 12mm diameter holes. The main frame features 54 off shelves (18 rows of 3). The shelves are cut to size from 9mm far eastern plywood, as is the exterior cladding. All plywood is varnished to reduce the risk of splinters.
The box section on the front face has been fitted with protruding 3mm nylon 6 strips in order to prevent metal to metal contact. These are held in place by inset 25mm x 2mm flat (punched). The rear of the rack is also backed with plywood.
The metalwork has been powder coated to give a hard wearing durable finish.
