Collet Transfer Trolley

Drawing Number: AD-677-2015-03

Collet Transfer Trolley

The trolley has been designed and manufactured to hold and transport 2 off types of collets for the assembly of aerospace components. The solution holds the collets upright to enable staff to position the trolley in front of a manipulator and remove the collets from the trolley with a cruciform. This design makes the procedure easier and reduces the Health and Safety risk with the current solution.

The trolley has been manufactured from 40mm steel box section and features 10mm thick natural nylon blocks in key areas to remove all metal to metal contact. The design features a Ø25mm tubular handle and 4 off 125mm diameter swivel and braked castors fitted with black centred blue non-marking elastic tyred wheels for manoeuvring the trolley.

The Trolley has been load tested to a SWL 450Kgs

Approximate overall size – 1200mm (W) x 600mm (L) x 1200mm (H)
