Curved Workstation – Job Number: 7488
The curved workstation has been developed for a major international OEM operating within the aerospace industry. The solution provides a means for the assembly/ inspection operator to access all areas of the component (raft) in an ergonomically friendly way.
The framework has been manufactured from 40mm x 3mm mild steel box section chosen for its good strength the weight ratio. On top the bench features a 4mm thick mild steel top, covered with a 6mm blue silicon free nitrite rubber (as specified by the client).
The workstation has been designed specifically to follow the arc of the ‘raft’ as per the supplied CAD model.
The solution features 4 off 200mm castors for manoeuvrability, all are swivel with brake.
To provide a durable hard wearing finish the unit has been powder coated in a grey colour.
