The Raft Workstation has been designed and manufactured for a large UK based Aerospace OEM’s Bristol site. This product is required so that the assembly/ inspection operator can access all areas of the curved component (raft) in an ergonomically friendly way.
The unit has been manufactured from 30mm square mild steel box section, chosen for its ideal strength to weight properties. On top, a sheet steel top panel is fitted with a 6mm silicon free blue nitrile rubber to prevent any damage to the part.
The width of the workstation has been set at 600mm and the arc follows that of the ‘raft’ part.
The base of the unit features 6 off 125mm swivel with brake castors.
Approx. Dimensions: 3180mm (W) x 600mm (D) x 750mm (H).
Mild Steel parts have been powder coated in RAL 7035 (Light Grey) to provide a hard wearing durable finish.
