Scope:

Like all responsible and compliant businesses, our client wanted to ensure that they had a safe and secure location to store their lifting equipment in line with LOLER regulations.

Within the lifting equipment storage cage they wanted to be able to apply visual management and 5s to their equipment to continually improve the process of auditing it.

Solution:

Acres were pleased to offer the Acres Lifting Equipment Storage Cage which provide a practical and robust storage solution.

Operators can visually see what is inside the cage speeding up the process of a visual check, also reducing the risk of it being left unlocked after a visual check has taken place. The storage unit is supplied with a range of hooks that can be setup to suit the site requirements and adjusted in the future as and when equipment changes.

The visual nature of the cage also reduces the risk of the unit being broken into to explore what is inside – it is also strong enough to deter anybody who tries.

This piece of equipment will help any businesses who use lifting equipment such as slings, harnesses etc to comply with LOLER.

The cage was designed specifically for the storage of lifting equipment but could be utilised for other equipment that needs to be securely stored.
