Mould Storage Trolley
The Mould Storage Trolley has been designed and manufactured for a Midlands based Aerospace OEM to transport moulds whilst minimising vibrations.
The framework has been manufactured from thin 25 x 25 steel box section. The surface is fitted with a 18mm plywood top bonded to a 6mm rubber sheet. Handrails are made using bent 25mm diameter tubes.
The wood/rubber surface is attached to the frame via a spring system, providing shock adsorption during transportation. The top surface has a wide slot cut out to allow moulds to be loaded using a manipulator. The unit is fitted with an A4 document pocket and four standard castors with black wheels. Handrails on either side allow for good maneuverability and unit stacking due to staggered heights.
The springs have a combined load rating of 69.6kg.
The unit has been powder coated in blue to provide a hard wearing, long lasting finish.
