The Pallet Metal Frame has been designed to store collet and cruciform fixtures used in the manufacture of gas turbine engines for a large midlands based OEM within the aerospace sector.
Scope of work:
From customer correspondence and drawings issued, produce CAD design, manufacture and supply 1x 0ff Pallet metal frame for use with 1 off- Spindle and 1 Off – Fixture.
The pallets has been manufactured from 5mm steel plate and supporting frame work. Underneath features a turntable ring allowing the top section to rotate 180 degrees. To lock it in position index pins drop into a hole on the base section. Tool trays have also been included within the base to store corresponding tools. ID plates are also included to identify components.
Approximate max loading capacity mass 850kg.
