Plate Racks with Backs Design.
The racks have been fabricated from 25mm x 25mm x 2 mm box section with 5mm bolt down plates with 12mm diameter holes. The main frame features 54 off shelves (18 rows of 3). The shelves have been cut to size from 9mm far eastern plywood, as has the exterior cladding. All plywood has been varnished to reduce the risk of splinters.
The box section on the front face is fitted with protruding 3mm nylon 6 strips in order to prevent metal to metal contact. This is held in place by inset 25mm x 2mm flat (punched). The rear of the rack has been backed with plywood.
The frame has been powder coat finished in 3001 RAL Signal Red to give a hard wearing durable finish. All plywood has been varnished to provide a protective finish.
Approximate overall size – 1340 mm (L) x 870 mm (W) x 1700 mm (H).
