The Rolling Rotor Stands have been designed and manufactured for a major UK based OEM operating in the aerospace industry.
Scope of work:
Visit site to evaluate customer requirements, produce CAD drawings, manufacture and supply 1 off set of 2 Rolling rotor stands.
The rolling rotor stands have been designed to hold rotors of varying sizes for staff to work on during the production and repair of gas turbine engines. The stands feature 2 off nylon rollers which protect the rotors from damage and allow them to rotate during use. The design has a number of locking points which allows the rollers to accommodate different widths of rotors.
The main stand is fabricated from 150mm mild steel box section with 150mm box section legs to keep the stands balanced. The stand has been powder coated in blue RAL 5003 which provides a long lasting, wear resistant coating.
The approximate overall size of the stand- 1500mm (W) x 1300mm (H)
