Rotary Jig Table.
The Rotary Jig Table has been designed and manufactured for a Midlands based bespoke interior trim company. The table allows jigs to be stored on 4 faces which means that when the operator needs to work on a certain trim, he has the jig already there.
The main framework has been manufactured out of 40mm box section with a thin wall to provide an optimum strength vs weight solution. The top section allows access for lighting to be fitted for better visibility.
The unit has mild steel side and back panels. This will ensure that the unit is enclosed.
The rotary bed will allow jigs to be fixed down. The bed has been manufactured using 40mm box section and 2mm thick top plates in which the jigs will attach to. The bed is able to spin due to the bearings on either side of the unit. The bed can be locked in each orientation via a spring-loaded index bolt.
The unit will sit on adjustable feet in each corner. This will mean that the unit will be level when placed on any type of flooring.
The unit has been powder coated in grey RAL 7035 to provide a hard wearing, long lasting finish.
