The Static Rotor Stands have been designed to assist in the manufacture and overhaul of gas turbine engines for a large midlands based OEM within the aerospace sector.
Scope of work:
Visit Site to evaluate customer requirements, produce CAD drawings and manufacture 1x set of 4 static rotor stands.
The stands have been designed to safety and securely hold different size rotors for staff to work and repair.
The stands feature nylon blocks for the rotors to rest on without damage, providing a safe solution to metal-to-metal contact concerns. These blocks are fixed into position.
The main stand has been fabricated from 150mm steel box section with 150mm box section legs to keep the stand balanced.

Finish: Powder Coat Colour : Blue RAL 5003
