Storage Rack Trolley

The Storage Rack Trolley has been designed and manufactured for an aerospace company to transport components keeping them secure during transportation. This trolley will aid standardisation and allow one place of storage for all non conformance parts.

The main framework has been manufactured using 50mm box section with a thin wall to provide an optimum strength vs weight solution. The unit features side and back panels which are tek screwed in place. The side and back pieces have clear panels in them so that an operator can clearly see what is inside of the unit.  A top panel will stop any loose debris getting in to parts and it will protect the parts when it is outdoors.

The unit features 4 shelves. Each shelf has an 18mm plywood panel in it with a 3mm HDPE panel on top of this. This allows parts to be stored on each shelf and also protect the parts when in transport. The HDPE panel is loose so that it can be removed and cleaned, allowing the trolley to be maintained and kept in a good condition.

A rubber trim has been fitted on the leading edge of each shelf to protect parts and the operators.

The unit features a roller blind on the front to protect the parts when in transport.

The trolley is fitted with 200mm diameter blue elastic rubber castors, with spring system. All of the castors are swivel with brake to improve manoeuvrability.

The trolley has been powder coat finished in RAL 5002 Dark Blue to give a hard wearing durable finish.
