This Tooling Body Cradle is designed with a base famed manufactured from 100mm x 100mm for the outer beams and with added support bars fixed at 200mm x 100mm.
Located on 4 areas of the Cradle are 4 locators which allow tools to sit on and be supported. These are manufactured using mild steel plates, 100mm x 100mm box section and 150mm x 75mm channel. The Cradle’s design purpose is to prevent metal to metal contact, preserving materials and increasing sustainability and preventing damage to other parts.
An additional feature that the Tooling Body Cradle has is a ratchet strap, that will go over each of the parts to keep them in place reducing the risk of damage and friction.
