Toolroom Repair Parts Racking.
The Toolroom Repair Parts Racking has been designed and manufactured for a Midlands based Aerospace OEM to store tools which are in need of repair. The racking allows the operator to clearly see which tools he can and can’t use.
The main frame has been manufactured using 40mm x 40mm mild steel box section with a thin wall to provide an optimum strength vs weight solution. It has angled shelves running the full length of the unit. This is what the tooling holders are mounted to.
Mounted to the angle shelves, there is plastic locating pads which allow the parts to be stored whilst minimising metal to metal contact. On the base of the unit, there is a plastic panel which increases the storage area. The racking can store 42 tools in total.
The unit has been powder coated in blue 20 D 45 to provide a hard wearing, long lasting finish.
