Wax Room Trolley

The Wax Room Trolley has been designed and manufactured for a Midlands based aerospace company to transport components keeping them secure during transportation. This trolley will aid standardisation and the flow of mouldings through the flow system. The trolley will transport work in progress and will have the ability of storing/transporting 48 moulds.

The main framework has been manufactured using 25mm box section with a thin wall to provide an optimum strength vs weight solution. On three sides of the trolley, there is a 25mm handle. This is positioned at 1m from the floor for ergonomic reasons. A mild steel plate will be on the top face of the trolley, this will allow for components to be worked on.

The unit has 2 shelves which the moulds are stored in. These have been manufactured from mild steel plate with silicone rubber in the shelf to stop the moulds from getting damaged.

A 2mm perspex safety screen has been fitted at both handle ends of the trolley to improve visibility inside of the unit.

The trolley is fitted with 160mm diameter blue elastic rubber castors, with spring system; two off swivel with brake at the handle end of the trolley, and two off fixed castors at the other.

The trolley has been powder coat finished in RAL 7035 Light Grey to give a hard wearing durable finish.
