The X-Ray table has been designed and manufactured for a major Midlands based Aerospace OEM for use within the x-ray area of the
The X-Ray table has been fabricated from 40mm x 40mm box section for the main framework and 3mm steel sheet for the top. This top sheet has a 15mm lip on all four sides to prevent the X-Ray machine from sliding off the unit.
Additionally, the design includes a shelf below the top surface with a 75mm spacing allowing for the storage of spare phosphorus X-Ray plates. This has been made from 25 x 25mm box section with a 3mm infill panel to form a shelf.
To the bottom of the unit there is another bent up shelf made from 3mm sheet. This will cover both the left and right hand sides of the unit (approx. 400mm high) to allow approx. 12 off fixtures to be stored in a horizontal or vertical position.
On the base there are 4 off adjustable feet designed to level the table and ensure the scanner will sit correctly.
Approximate overall size – 730mm (H) x 730mm (W) x 920mm (H).
The solution has been powder coated in Blue BS 4800 20 D 45 to provide a long lasting hard wearing finish.
