Engaging engineers of the future at The Pingle Academy Careers Fair 2026
We recently attended a careers fair at The Pingle Academy in Swadlincote to showcase careers in Engineering and Design.
Our team recently visited the annual careers fair at The Pingle Academy in Swadlincote, which was for year 10-13 students and their parents/ carers. Amongst the other exhibitors were representatives of the armed forces, several local collages and universities, councils and local companies including Acres. The event also featured talks about university and apprenticeship pathways.
Our representatives Dave Yeomans and Cara James spent an informative afternoon speaking to students about our industry placement and employment opportunities. It was a great chance to showcase what we do and how students can gain work both experience and future careers with us. We’re so pleased to already be speaking further with some students after the fair.
