Acres attends British Army 3(UK) Division Armoured Expo 2026
We were delighted to be invited to the British Amy’s Armoured Expo 26 on Salisbury Plain
Hosted at the British Army’s famous Copehill Down Training Village on Salisbury Plain, the 3(UK) Division Armoured Expo 2026 was a showcase of industry and mission partners including the likes of JCB, ARX, Lockheed Martin, BAE, MOOG Defence, Malloy Aeronautics and many more.
Set across 3 zones within the village and including workshops, presentations and live demonstrations of armoured vehicles, UAV (Unmanned Air Vehicles), UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicles) and supporting systems.
We are playing a live role in designing and building production support equipment for the armed forces, including one of the vehicles on display at the event: The Boxer – for which we have supplied a specialised stillage/trolley system to support the highly advanced driver’s hatch.
Bruce Spencer, our Defence Lead said: “We were delighted to be invited to the British Amy’s Armoured Expo 26 on Salisbury Plain . The annual event brings the Army’s heavy armoured division, allies, partners and defence contractors. A great opportunity to see the rapid modernisation of the armed forces and see at first hand the 3 (UK) Armoured division’s Challenger III tanks on exercise. We were delighted to see the new Boxer armoured vehicle on display where Acres Engineering assisted in the production of the drivers hatch”
