Rolls-Royce is supporting a newly established UK hydrogen alliance aimed at expediting the transition to carbon-neutral aviation.

The engineering giant, renowned for its civil aerospace business in Derby, has partnered with significant players in the aviation industry to establish the Hydrogen in Aviation Alliance.

Rolls-Royce is accompanied in this alliance by other prominent firms from the UK aviation and renewable energy sectors, including easyJet, Airbus, Ørsted, GKN Aerospace, and Bristol Airport.

According to the alliance, the UK presently holds a favourable position to emerge as a global frontrunner in hydrogen-driven aviation.
