The 5 Tonne Trestle Stands have been designed and manufactured for a midlands based automotive client to allow the operators to work on components at a safe height.
The stands have been manufactured from 50mm x 50mm box section for the legs and 100mm x 50mm to support the legs. The metal work has a thin wall to provide an optimum strength vs weight solution.
On the base of the unit, there are mild steel thin sheets which act as feet and steady the stands. Also, on both sides of the unit, there are lifting points which allow access for a crane to hook on to it and move the units to there designated place.
The stands have a SWL of 5000kg.
The units have been powder coated in yellow to provide a hard wearing, long lasting finish. The top face of the unit has been left as un painted as it will be the surface which will be coming in contact with the parts.
