This impressively long storage rack will be used to store various types of tubing used in a sub manufacturing process of a leading aerospace company.
The C2 Storage Rack’s fabricated frame will be manufactured from a robust 40mm box section. This framework will house a 112mm diameter plastic pipe the top section of which will hinge open to allow access to the tubes inside.
In order to secure the items, the top section of pipe will be fixed shut in position using over centre toggle latches. All fixings attaching the hinges and latches to the assembly and main frame will be plastic to prevent metal to metal contact.
Approximate overall size – 5000mm (L) x 1500mm (H) x 600mm (D).
