Adjustable Parts Racks

Scope

Our automotive client wanted a solution to store components with the ability to make adjustments for the differing sizes of those components. The components in this example were bonnets and doors. 

Solution

We designed and manufactured an adjustable toast rack providing the client with flexibility they needed. Reducing the risk of damage to components is also very critical for the client, so all touch points were fitted with protection to prevent contact with a hard metal surface. The bottom surface is polyurethane rubber which grips against the components without marking them. These roast rack stillages are multifunctional. They can hold a multitude of parts / components and be kitted to suit different production requirements. They can be dropped onto a dolly for transportation, stored on racking when not in use or used as temporary storage.
