The Balancing Tackle Stand has been developed for a major international aerospace OEM and will be used to carry and store the customer’s existing support stand and fixture support frame.
The balancing tackle stand stores parts on 2 levels; the fixture support on the lower level and the support stand on the upper level which will consist of 2 off pivoting support arms. This allows two parts to be stored one above the other and be accessed by overhead crane saving space.
The stand frame has been manufactured from 40mm box section with nylon supports to locate the balancing tackle. A handle made from circular hollow section has been attached to allow easy movement of the trolley around the site.
The unit has been assembled with 4 off 125mm swivel and braked castors with non marking elastic tyres to protect flooring. The assembly has been powder coated in RAL 7035 to give a long-lasting, durable finish.
