CMM Station

The CMM station has been designed and manufactured for a local midlands based aerospace OEM for use with the Co-ordinate Measuring Machine within in the new area of the precision machining facility .

The CMM station’s framework has been assembled from 40mm x 40mm heavy duty extruded aluminium profile providing a light but strong bolt together solution.

The interior framework of the table consists of a drawer to store A4 size documents, storage shelves and section for a PC base unit to sit.

The up stand has been manufactured from mild steel and powder coated to give a hard wearing durable finish and features an incline with a 30mm front upturned edge to prevent parts falling off.

A full motion cantilever monitor bracket which can be raised and lowered as well as moved in and out has been fitted and a 4-Gang Surge Protected extension lead located on the back of the up stand to provide power points.  Also fitted is a bar code gun holder and side arm with shelf to locate a printer.

The units have been powder coated in Sapphire Blue BS 4800 20-D-45 to give a hard-wearing durable finish.

Approximate overall size 600mm (W) x 400mm (D) x 1200 (H) (table top height is 1070mm).
