The HSD6 tool rack has been designed for a major UK based aerospace client to ergonomically store tooling at the Precision Casting Facility.
Scope of work:
Design and manufacture a HSD6 tool rack to Acres drawing number AD-616-2015-01.
The main framework of the rack is fabricated from 40mm x 40mm x 3mm square hollow section. Attached to the frame are 16 off CNC formed laser cut locating plates which hold the tooling. The rack is fixed in place with M10 X 75 self tapping bolts.
The solution has been powder coated in RAL 7035 Grey to provide a long lasting hard wearing finish.
