The Equipment Rack has been designed to replace an existing solution use in the Balance machine rotor cell within the production test facility of a large midlands based aerospace OEM.
Scope of work:
Visit site to evaluate customer requirements, design, produce CAD drawings and manufacture Equipment Rack for the balance machine rotor cell.
The current equipment rack was deemed as not fit for purpose, loose equipment was not secured and parts didn’t have designated locations for storage. Due to a recent audit, this item was picked up for improvement. The proposed solution was developed to solve all of these issues.
The equipment rack has been manufactured from a 5mm flat base plate with 8x off solid nylon blocks secured on top machined to the accommodate slots required for the parts.
