Support Fixture Trolley:
Acres were approached to design and manufacture a trolley to store and safely manoeuvre a circular Support Fixture in aero engine assembly. The solution is manufactured from 40mm box section for the main frame with nylon supports to locate the Support Fixture. The Fixture is located in a vertical orientation to keep the footprint of the unit to minimum while still allowing access via crane. Assembled with 4 125mm swivel and braked castors, the design ensures the trolley can be easily manoeuvred around the assembly site.
