Test Cell Pressure Barriers.

Acres Engineering designed the Test Cell Pressure Barriers, featuring polycarbonate protective shields. Known to be 250x stronger than glass, polycarbonate is a durable yet, lightweight material that protects against UV rays. However, this solution can be supplied with opaque panels and in a range of sizes and heights.
To provide a trouble-free design, the side shields were designed to be folded to reduce the total width of the barriers for easy maneuverability; allowing them to be smoothly removed from the working area. Designed as a modular structure, the unit can add more panels in the future to be used for different projects.
Accurate representations of the barriers were simulated on CAD. Our advanced manufacturing drawings create ease of understanding for our clients so there’s no confusion.
Using CAD supports computer-aided manufacturing. Laser-cutting is a sustainable method to reduce the waste of materials and resources. By using less energy, we reduce the cost of production.
The laser-cutter provides a short lead-time so, this universal solution could be utilised within other industries. It can be used for security or training purposes or for safety to cordon off hazardous areas.
