A Frame Kitting Trolleys

The A Frame Kitting Trolleys have been designed for a midlands based Aerospace OEM for use during the kitting and build stages of gas turbine engines.

The A-Frame Kitting Trolleys are designed to provide a lean solution to the build process by providing a visual, easy to access kit of parts for each stage of the build process. Each frame is kitted in build sequence order with plastic fixings to securing parts and vinyl shadows- preventing any metal to metal contact and making partially kitted identifying parts locations.

The A-Frame Trolleys have been manufactured from 30mm x 30mm mild steel box section with 1.2mm sheet steel infill end panels. Large solid forklift truck pockets are positioned at the base manufactured from 2mm mild steel. The trolleys will each feature two interchangeable boards manufactured from 15mm plywood and 3mm foam X. Approximate size of board 1500mm x 1000mm.

In addition each unit has the following:
>200mm diameter castors, two fixed, two swivel with brake.
>Rubber bump strip around all sides.
>Rubber edging strip on both sides.
>Drop down handle (swivel castor end).
>Fixed plastic handle (fixed castor end).
>Standard ILC forklift pockets.
>Go No Go Gauge.
> Maintenance label.
>Document pocket.

The unit has been powder coated in RAL 20D45 Blue to provide a high quality, durable finish that will ensure product longevity.

Quantity: To date there are in excess of 100 units in the build line.
