Acres donates new sign to local youth club – The Athenaeum Hub

We were proud to donate and manufacture a new sign for the Athenaeum Hub in Melbourne, Derbyshire. 🤝

We were approached by the team that run The Athenaeum to help rebuild an illuminated sign box that had suffered damage.
The sign needed to house the current illuminated perspex light box, so we created a suitable steel enclosure with laser-cut lettering allowing the light through from the inside. This was then powder coated in satin black.

Connected with Melbourne Methodist Church, the Hub is a dedicated youth and community facility providing a safe and welcoming environment for young people and local residents. With a busy weekly timetable of youth sessions, community groups and support activities, it plays an important role in bringing people together across all ages.
