“C” Class Kit Box Media Workstation:
This bespoke kitting trolley solution has been designed and manufactured for a Midlands based aerospace company to transport and store regularly used small “C Class” parts used within the assembly of gas turbine engines.
The Kit Box Media Workstation unit has been manufactured from 25mm x 25mm box section for the main framework with a 25mm handle on one side. There are 2 rows of 4 drawers (8 drawers in total) that are specifically designed to hold standard euro box containers (180mm x 600mm x 400mm). The drawers have been attached to the frame using 100% extension ball bearing draw slides to allow full access into the drawers.
The drawers each feature a rubber sheet in the bottom of them to protect the drawers.
The unit also features a 25mm thick plywood work top with a 3mm thick natural rubber top sheet on it to protect the parts.
The trolley is fitted with 4x castors, 2 off are swivel with brake and 2 off are fixed to improve manoeuvrability.
The trolley has been powder coat finished in BS 20 D 45 Blue to give a hard wearing durable finish.
