Fixture Storage Trolley

Fixture Storage Trolley:

The fixture storage trolley has been designed for the production and assembly operations division of a large midlands based OEM within the aerospace sector. The solution will be used to store parts that assist in the manufacture of gas turbine engines.

Scope of work:
Visit site and evaluate customer requirements. Design and manufacture fixture storage trolley to replace individual storage solutions, providing one dedicated storage unit.

The unit will hold and store:
2 x off 3 Point Lifter
3 x off Turnover Stand
1 x off Beam
2 x off Trunion
2 x off Turnover bracket

The 3 off Turnover & Beam lifters will be stored in parallel to one another.
The 2 x off 3 point lifters will be stored within cut outs to prevent slippage.
Each side of the fixture storage trolley features a shelving space with PE300 inserts to store the 2 x off Trunion & 2 x off Turnover brackets.

The frame work has been made from 50mm x 50mm square hollow box section with a 50mm x 75mm rectangular box section base. The solution features 4 x off 150mm Ø swivel with brake castors with non marking elastic tyres to protect the floor.
