High Visibility Kitting Cabinet
The High Visibility Kitting Cabinet has been created for a large international aerospace OEM. The cabinet is designed to store parts used in the engine build process before they are sent to their build line, eliminating the need for expensive and wasteful cardboard vacuum packing.
The module features 5 off extendable drawers which hold plastic trays with foam inserts. The inserts have been CNC machined with cut outs sized to house each specific part. This reduces the risk of metal to metal contact of the parts. The unit has 2 off doors which open back flat against the sides and is fitted with mild steel outer panels to protect the parts within.
The module has been designed with viewing panels on all sides so the parts can be easily identified. A handle has been fitted to the side of the trolley which aids movement around the site.
The module is assembled with 200mm diameter castors, 2 off fixed and 2 off swivel with brakes.
The cabinet is finished in green RAL – 6029 to provide a hard wearing durable finish.
