The Kitting Table has been designed to assist in the manufacture and overhaul of gas turbine engines for a large midlands based OEM within the aerospace sector.
Scope of Work:
Visit site to evaluate customer requirements, produce CAD drawings and manufacture 1x off Kitting Table.
The tables will be used for the kitting and un-boxing of parts supplied into Aero Repair & Overhaul and Integrated Logistic Centre.
They have been manufactured from 40mm x 40mm box section for the base section and 40mm x 40mm angle for the top frame to allow a 36mm plywood top to be inset into the frame. The plywood has been covered in hardwearing 10mm thick commercial grade rubber to prevent metal to metal contact.
