The Quality Lane Station has been designed and manufactured for a west midlands based automotive client. The quality lane station has been designed to integrate into an existing ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) conveyor system alongside the Manual Stations and Rework Stations at their Solihull site.
The quality lane station provides a desktop location for the operator to use a computer and printers during a quality check procedure.
The solution has been manufactured from mild steel box section with sheet steel infill panels to the sides and rear. A stepped working surface design features a full length drawer spanning 1200mm providing a surface to store a computer keyboard and mouse. To the left of the unit are two hinged doors with bridge handles and a cam-lock for security. The design will also accommodate a desktop computer with an A4 printer and Label printer. On top will sit a 19.5″ display screen and handheld terminal.
The Solution will be Powder Coat Light Grey RAL 7035 to provide a hard wearing and long lasting finish.
