The single sided HSD5 tool racks have been designed to ergonomically store tooling at the precision casting facility of a major midlands based aerospace client. The single sided design is a variant of our tried and tested HSD5 tool rack.
Scope of work:
Manufacture and supply two single sided HSD5 tool racks to Acres drawing number AD-1184-2016-11.
The main framework of the rack has been fabricated from 40mm x 40mm x 3mm square hollow section. Attached to the frame are 16 off CNC formed laser cut locating plates which secure the tooling. The rack is fixed in place with M10 X 75 self tapping floor bolts.
This frame has been powder coated in RAL 9001 Ivory to provide a hard wearing long lasting finish.
