Base Drawer Unit – REF 2016-09-12946

The base drawer unit have been designed and manufactured for a midlands based Aerospace OEM for use on their site in Germany. The units are used during the kitting and build stages of gas turbine engines. This kitting solution is a variant of our drawer unit design.

The drawer units have been designed to sit within the base of the Acres A Frame solution to provide additional flexibility when kitting. Also it’s  providing extra storage when the client needs to store components that cannot be kitted directly onto the A frames shadow board.

The solution features a 35mm x 35mm plastic box section frame with 6mm plastic sheet for the panels. The drawers have also been made from 6mm plastic sheet which has been formed.

The drawer base units feature 5 off drawers each will sit on 40mm x 40mm plastic angle which will allow the drawers to slide in and out. Each drawer has the following internal dimensions: 793x476x91mm (WxDxH). The unit also features bridge handles for the ease of opening and closing the drawers.

Approximate overall size – 900mm (L) x 500mm (D) x 580mm (H).

The unit has been left in its natural colour.
