Solution:
The customer required a bespoke Jig to support with their production process, to allow the support of a spindle focusing on Lean manufacturing and improving the production process. Based on the customers request of a diameter of 100mm, the product was manufactured within tolerance to accommodate the part it will be used for. Manufactured using 100x100x5mm box sections, PE300 was used at contact points, to prevent metal to metal contact. A key focus in this project is to ensure a SWL of 400 kg was achieved. The client requested for the Jig to be powder coated, in line with the company’s specific colour.
