Santa Delivers Sign Donated by Acres to School
Emily Findon from the Melbourne Infant School PTA approached Acres with a request to donate a prize to the schools Christmas Raffle.
The Christmas Raffle is held to raise much needed funds for the school. Some examples of where funds go include workshops for the children and Bug Club and Spelling Shed, electronic subscriptions which children access for literacy and numeracy help.
Luke Parker, Acres Managing Director who has a long history of supporting schools, STEM, charities, and the the armed forces suggested that Acres could design and manufacture a ‘one of a kind’ Santa Stop Here sign.
The sign was designed by Alejandro de Castro from Acres Engineering Europe S.L. – and then manufactured in the UK by laser cutting, welding, powder coating and final assembly.
Acres are on good terms with Santa who managed to squeeze some time into his schedule to deliver the sign! The sign was handed over by Acres Production Manager Jeremy Peterson to Headteacher Mrs C Gibbs who commented that it ‘it looked great’.
Santa certainly wont miss this sign on Christmas Eve!
We hope that the lucky family enjoy their prize.
